Senior Business Operator (Growth, Operations & AI)

About the role

A founder is looking for a Senior Business Operator to act as their right hand in running and scaling the business. This is not a traditional executive assistant or administrative support role; the ideal person thinks independently, takes ownership of projects, anticipates problems and turns ideas into practical solutions. The position is 100% remote and full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and improve day-to-day business operations with the founder, coordinating priorities and workflows across a growing portfolio of client accounts
• Own projects from planning through execution and completion, and build scalable processes and systems
• Use AI tools for research, analysis, automation and execution, and design workflows that reduce manual work
• Track and report key metrics such as customer acquisition cost, close rates and conversion rates, and recommend improvements
• Support growth initiatives including lead generation, funnel optimization and lead pre-qualification, and assist with paid media and marketing projects when relevant

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to manage projects independently
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work quickly and thoroughly without sacrificing quality
• Nice to have: experience in business operations, growth operations or a Chief of Staff-type role, and experience in a marketing agency or managing multiple client accounts

Required skills

• Advanced, hands-on experience using AI tools to solve real business problems
• Nice to have: AI automation tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier, CRM systems, paid media (Meta Ads or Google Ads), and knowledge of marketing funnels and lead generation

What we offer

• Pay of $1,400-$2,000 USD per month depending on experience, plus commissions
• 10 PTO days and 3 sick days per year, plus 6 U.S. federal holidays
