Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Python expertise to join a high‑traffic, contract‑based project. You will design, build and maintain scalable backend services that power critical applications for a global software development leader.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services using Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Implement and evolve APIs, databases and micro‑services architecture to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Optimize system scalability, latency and resource usage for large‑scale applications.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Python.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
