About the role

A leading Fintech, recruiting through eRecruiter, is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Engineering team. The company delivers financial services to mobile users and is driven by data.

Key responsibilities

Build backend functionality for existing and new product lines such as Credit, Wallet, Bill Pay and others.
Integrate with third-party systems, including payment systems, identity providers and messaging platforms.
Scale the company's backend services and pipelines to growing traffic and complexity.
Help build flexible, easy-to-use tools used by operations teams to handle customer inquiries and other business processes.

Required profile

Strong experience (6+ years) building backend software for web-based or mobile products.
Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, distributed systems, data storage and agile development.
Excellent collaborator and communicator; pragmatic, combining technology knowledge with product needs to find the best solution.
Highly entrepreneurial, takes ownership of impact, proactively identifies problems and proposes solutions.
