About the role
Kashia is building core financial infrastructure for African markets. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will own the development of critical systems that enable payroll processing, hiring workflows, and escrow services. You will work with modern, event‑driven architectures to deliver reliable, high‑performance backend services.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the payroll engine that handles large‑scale salary calculations.
- Develop hiring workflow services that automate recruitment processes.
- Build and maintain Vault escrow systems that secure transactions across markets.
- Write clean, production‑ready code in Go and interact with PostgreSQL databases.
- Apply event‑driven architectural patterns to ensure scalability and resilience.
Required profile
- Senior‑level experience in backend software development.
- Proven ability to design and ship complex, data‑intensive services.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to system reliability.
