Senior Accounts Officer

About the role

The Senior Accounts Officer will lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This position supports the finance team in budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and audit activities within a fast‑moving banking and insurance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports and statements.
• Manage account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and cash flow to support financial planning.
• Assist internal and external audits and contribute to audit documentation.
• Utilize ERP systems for efficient financial management and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliation, and tax compliance.

• Proficiency in using ERP systems for financial management and reporting.
