About the role
The Credit Analyst will join Sonora Capital and Investment Limited to evaluate loan applications, analyse customers' financial information and assess credit risk. The role involves close collaboration with the lending team to ensure sound credit decisions and support the bank's growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assess loan applications.
- Analyze customers’ income, bank statements, and financial information.
- Check credit history and repayment records.
- Assess customers’ ability to repay loans and identify potential credit and fraud risks.
- Recommend loan approval, amount, and repayment terms.
- Verify customer information and supporting documents.
- Ensure lending decisions follow company policies.
- Monitor loan performance and identify early signs of default.
- Prepare clear credit assessment reports.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
- Minimum of an HND in a related field.
