Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join Prommex’s Finance department in Ibadan. The role involves overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering insights that support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure tax compliance and handle statutory remittances.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
• Support payroll processing and prepare financial schedules.
• Coordinate external audits and monitor cost‑control initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and analytical ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

What we offer

• Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from ₦300,000 to ₦600,000.
• Full‑time permanent position.
