Senior Accountant – Full‑time in Abuja

About the role

Abuja Clinics is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Abuja. You will play a key role in managing the hospital group’s financial operations, supporting strategic decisions through accurate reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all accounting functions across the three hospital locations.
• Prepare financial analyses, reports, revenue projections and expenditure forecasts.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring and variance analysis.
• Maintain and reconcile balance‑sheet and general‑ledger accounts.
• Support annual audit preparation and address audit findings.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and compliance issues.
• Perform additional accounting duties as required.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of experience as a chartered accountant.
• Working knowledge of tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and operate both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of tax compliance.
