Security Surveillance Officer

About the role

The Security Surveillance Officer will be responsible for continuously monitoring the company’s CCTV and surveillance systems, ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and operations at Zobis Cable Nigeria Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment throughout assigned shifts, reporting any malfunctions.
• Detect, document, and promptly report security incidents, maintaining accurate logs and preparing regular reports.
• Observe staff, visitors, contractors and vehicle movements, verifying compliance with access‑control procedures.
• Maintain a continuous presence in the control room, manage alarms, communication systems and hand over duties between shifts.
• Support emergency response by providing real‑time surveillance information during fires, accidents, theft or other incidents.
• Preserve and retrieve CCTV footage for investigations while ensuring confidentiality.
• Ensure adherence to company security policies, safety regulations and internal investigation requests.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: OND.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar security surveillance role.
