Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will safeguard the premises of Fovic Pharmacy in Ibadan and Oyo State. Working full‑time, Monday to Saturday, you will be the first line of defence against unauthorized access, theft, and safety hazards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify employee badges, visitor IDs and maintain entry logs at all gates.
• Monitor live CCTV feeds and security consoles to detect unusual activity.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian entry, preventing access to restricted zones.
• Conduct regular patrols on foot or by vehicle, inspecting doors, windows, gates and reporting any hazards such as broken lights or blocked fire exits.
• Provide immediate response to fires, medical emergencies or alarms and coordinate with police, fire services or ambulance as needed.
• Prepare clear daily incident reports documenting visitors, incidents and safety concerns.

Required profile

• Minimum education: SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate).
• No prior experience required; candidates with less than one year in a similar role are welcome.

What we offer

• Monthly salary ranging from NGN 70,000 to NGN 150,000.
• Full‑time, onsite position with a structured work schedule (Mon‑Sat).
