Security Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to lead the safety and security operations at our Radisson Hotel in Benin City, Nigeria. The role ensures a secure environment for guests, staff and assets while supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the safety & security department, maintaining the highest standards of protection across the hotel.
• Proactively improve guest satisfaction by delivering timely and positive responses to security‑related enquiries.
• Implement and achieve safety & security initiatives aligned with hotel targets.
• Manage the maintenance team, fostering growth, development and high performance.
• Control the departmental budget, monitor costs, inventory and productivity.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver a planned preventative maintenance programme covering environmental and conservation matters.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, document due‑diligence activities and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in safety and security management.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
• Strong managerial skills with a hands‑on, lead‑by‑example approach.
• Commitment to exceptional guest service within the hospitality industry.
• Ability to devise creative solutions and provide sound recommendations.
