About the role

This programme offers aspiring secondary teachers a full‑time, year‑long training experience. You will combine theoretical study of teaching methods with daily classroom practice in two partner schools.

Key responsibilities

• Attend central core training sessions one day per week.
• Apply teaching theory in real classroom settings across two placement schools.
• Collaborate with mentors, colleagues and support staff to develop effective lesson plans.
• Participate in reflective practice and professional development activities.

• Passion for your subject area and a desire to inspire secondary‑school students.
• Commitment to completing a full training year.
• Willingness to engage with both theoretical and practical aspects of teaching.

Required skills

• Strong subject knowledge in your chosen discipline.
• Ability to communicate concepts clearly to young learners.
