Scientific & Laboratory Operations Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Scientific & Laboratory Operations Specialist to support a global biotechnology research client on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will manage day‑to‑day laboratory functions, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and help optimise experimental workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking.
• Ensure all experimental procedures follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align laboratory activities with project timelines.
• Document experimental results, analyse data for trends and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in laboratory operations management.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in a research environment.
• Ability to interpret experimental data and produce clear documentation.
