Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will drive the acquisition of service providers for UrbanWish’s marketplace in Lagos, ensuring a robust portfolio across categories such as salons, gyms, hotels and other tourism‑related businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and engage service providers, presenting UrbanWish’s value proposition and converting leads into active listings.
• Support providers in creating and optimizing business profiles, pricing, images, descriptions and availability.
• Guide providers through document verification and onboarding requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, advising on best practices to maximise bookings and gathering feedback for internal teams.
• Track onboarding progress, maintain accurate lead and conversion records, and contribute to weekly performance updates.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on launch campaigns and city or category expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development or field marketing.
• Strong communication and persuasion skills with comfort in in‑person outreach.
• Ability to explain digital products to non‑technical business owners.
• Self‑motivated, organised and target‑driven.
• Nice to have: experience selling to SMEs such as salons, gyms or hotels, and familiarity with online marketplaces or SaaS tools.
