Sales & Marketing Head

About the role

The client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Head to drive revenue growth and strengthen the brand in Angola. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead both sales and marketing functions from the Luanda office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and pricing trends.
• Lead expansion into new markets, channels, and customer segments.
• Oversee national and regional sales teams, setting KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Manage key accounts, negotiate high‑value contracts, and drive customer retention.
• Define pricing strategy, discount structures, and margin management in coordination with finance.
• Coordinate brand positioning, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production to align demand planning with capacity.
• Partner with HR to build commercial capability and performance culture.

Required profile

• 12+ years of commercial leadership experience in FMCG, manufacturing or distribution.
• Proven track record of revenue growth, market expansion and key‑account management.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
