Sales Manager - Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks

About the role

Whip-Smart Service Providers Limited is looking for a Sales Manager to develop and expand the market for medium and heavy-duty trucks in Lagos. The role involves generating new business, building customer relationships and achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand the market for medium and heavy-duty trucks.
• Identify and generate new sales opportunities and prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct customer visits, market development activities and product presentations.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into sales.
• Provide customers with product information and help them choose suitable truck models.
• Coordinate customer reception and follow-up, and prepare sales reports as required.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and stay informed about market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Open to all genders; candidates must be under 38 years of age.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in medium and heavy-duty truck sales; SINOTRUK or SHACMAN sales experience preferred.
• Must own a personal vehicle for market development and customer visits.

Required skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and able to follow instructions under supervision.

What we offer

• Basic salary of NGN 250,000 to 500,000, including transportation and phone allowances.
• Performance commission of NGN 150,000 to 700,000 per vehicle sold, depending on the truck model.
• High performers can earn over NGN 10 million annually.
