About the role

The Sales Manager will lead a dedicated sales team, develop territory‑specific strategies and ensure the achievement of sales targets. This role combines people leadership with hands‑on market analysis and client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to meet individual and collective quotas.
  • Design and execute a territory‑specific sales plan aligned with the commercial strategy.
  • Set clear sales objectives, create quotas and monitor performance against KPIs.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Develop tailored sales materials and presentations for distinct customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Acquire new key accounts across designated industry verticals and grow existing accounts through cross‑selling.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement initiatives to improve conversion rates and team efficiency.
  • Support talent development, training and reporting of sales metrics to the Commercial Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with a CRM system is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership behaviours such as team building, execution, external focus and growth mindset.
