About the role
The Sales Manager will lead a dedicated sales team, develop territory‑specific strategies and ensure the achievement of sales targets. This role combines people leadership with hands‑on market analysis and client relationship management.
Key responsibilities
- Coach, mentor and motivate the sales team to meet individual and collective quotas.
- Design and execute a territory‑specific sales plan aligned with the commercial strategy.
- Set clear sales objectives, create quotas and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities.
- Develop tailored sales materials and presentations for distinct customer segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Acquire new key accounts across designated industry verticals and grow existing accounts through cross‑selling.
- Identify performance gaps and implement initiatives to improve conversion rates and team efficiency.
- Support talent development, training and reporting of sales metrics to the Commercial Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of sales experience, preferably in a related industry.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with a CRM system is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership behaviours such as team building, execution, external focus and growth mindset.
