Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the paint distribution network across Nigeria, driving growth and ensuring targets are met. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on management of distributors, dealers and key customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all distributors nationwide.
• Develop and implement effective paint sales strategies.
• Identify and develop new distributors and business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, and key customers.
• Drive sales growth and ensure achievement of set sales targets.
• Monitor distributor performance and provide necessary support.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Develop strategies to expand product distribution and market share.
• Negotiate with distributors and major clients.
• Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on business performance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in paint sales.
• In‑depth knowledge of the paint industry and market.
• Proven experience managing distributors and sales channels.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑management skills.
• Strong business development and networking abilities.
• Previous experience in a sales management position is highly preferred.
