Sales Manager – Home & Personal Care

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, technically‑savvy Sales Manager to accelerate growth of our Home Care, Industrial & Institutional, and Personal Care specialty‑chemical portfolio in Nigeria. You will develop new business, strengthen key‑account relationships, and deliver sustainable revenue through strategic commercial and technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis of customer needs, competitive dynamics, and regulatory requirements across hospitality, healthcare, food service, and facility‑management segments.
• Design and execute go‑to‑market strategies for detergents, disinfectants, laundry chemistries, and specialty cleaning formulations, including field trials and pilot projects.
• Identify, win, and grow strategic accounts, reactivate dormant customers, and increase share with key chains and cleaning contractors.
• Provide on‑site technical support, product training, SOP development, and regulatory guidance (e.g., NAFDAC compliance).
• Collaborate with marketing on technical datasheets and campaigns, and with supply‑chain/operations to ensure reliable delivery.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and client events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or key‑account management within Home Care, Institutional & Industrial Cleaning, or Personal Care sectors.
• Strong network within Nigeria’s HHPC industry and proven ability to manage key accounts.
• Background with specialty‑chemicals or industrial‑formulator companies; certifications in cleaning‑chemistry applications, ISO quality systems or regulatory compliance are a plus.
