Sales Manager – A&C

About the role

The Sales Manager – A&C will drive concrete sales and commercial growth for HBM Nigeria by identifying and developing opportunities across large and medium‑sized companies, masons, developers and home builders. The role combines technical product solutions with strong customer relationship management to strengthen the HBM brand in the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the commercial strategy and sales action plans to achieve sales targets and profit margins.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction market, tracking activity and market developments.
• Provide technical product solutions and value‑added product promotions to meet customer needs.
• Prepare and deliver data‑driven market intelligence and regular sales performance reports for management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Quality Control, Production and Legal teams to improve product quality and service.
• Negotiate prices, volumes and additional services, and resolve critical issues such as price delays and claims.
• Apply and manage health & safety and diversity & inclusion policies on site, reporting incidents and ensuring compliance.
• Represent HBM at industry meetings and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 7 years (84 months) of experience in sales within the construction or concrete industry.
• Proven ability to develop and execute commercial strategies and achieve sales targets.
• Strong understanding of construction market dynamics and customer needs.
• Leadership in health & safety and diversity & inclusion practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
