Sales Engineer – Technical Solutions for Manufacturing & Oil & Gas

About the role

The Sales Engineer will partner with the sales team and clients to translate technical solutions into clear business value. You will support the full sales cycle, from product demonstrations to post‑sale technical assistance, primarily serving the manufacturing and oil & gas sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and respond to technical inquiries.
• Develop proposals, design solutions and assist with cost‑effective recommendations.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, including on‑site customer engagements.
• Gather client feedback and work with internal teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support customer training sessions.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and manage the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of engineering products such as valves, pumps, compressors, pipelines, turbines and automation.
• Experience with industrial processes in manufacturing and oil & gas environments.
