Sales Assistant - Clothing Store

About the role

H-Ville Consultancy is hiring a Sales Assistant for a clothing store in Marina, Lagos. The role covers welcoming customers, helping them choose clothes, promoting products and keeping the shop tidy and well-stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers in selecting clothing that suits their preferences and needs, giving accurate information on styles, sizes, colours and prices.
• Promote products and encourage sales.
• Arrange, display and organise clothing items neatly within the store.
• Monitor stock levels and report low-stock items to management.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Assist with sales transactions and payments where required.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and attractive, and maintain good customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Support other daily store operations as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Aged between 25 and 30 years.
• Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service is an advantage.
• Interest in women's fashion, clothing and styling.
• Ability to organise clothing displays neatly.
• Must reside in Lagos or be able to commute conveniently to the workplace.

Required skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, with good attention to detail.
• Punctual, neat and professionally presentable.
