Retail Supervisor

About the role

ANSA McAL Distribution Inc. is looking for an experienced Retail Supervisor to lead store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive sales performance. The role is based on‑site and requires a hands‑on leader who can motivate staff and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Lead, train, and motivate store staff, handling scheduling, performance evaluations, and development.
• Maintain high customer‑service standards and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishments, and oversee cash handling.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets set by the company.
• Ensure store appearance, merchandising, and visual standards are consistently met.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (asset).
• Minimum three (3) years of retail experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in inventory management, cash handling, and team leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
