Retail Sales Representative

About the role

Leadway is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join its Lagos team in a full‑time, hybrid capacity. The role focuses on promoting the company’s financial products and services to retail customers, both through cold calling and referred leads.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Leadway’s insurance, pension, health and asset management products to retail clients.
• Conduct cold calls and engage referred prospects, explaining product features and benefits.
• Handle client inquiries, process sales transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and follow up on leads.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Support promotional campaigns and deliver professional customer service aligned with brand and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven retail sales experience with a track record of meeting targets.
• Strong product knowledge of financial services to match offerings with customer needs.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools and accurate record‑keeping.
• High integrity, good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (advantageous).
