Retail Development Manager

About the role

The Retail Development Manager will be based in Port Harcourt and will lead the creation and growth of the retail sales network for Heirs Insurance Group. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on building a high‑performing team and executing strategic retail initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement retail sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of retail sales professionals.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and adjust plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with product, marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare regular business reports and present results to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in banking, insurance or financial services.
• Proven track record in retail sales and business planning.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• HND, BSc or Masters degree in any discipline.
