Restaurant General Manager – Upscale Dining

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, service‑driven Restaurant General Manager to lead the daily operations of an upscale dining concept. The role combines hands‑on leadership with strategic oversight to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise front‑of‑house staff to maintain high hospitality standards.
• Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team for seamless front‑and‑back of house collaboration.
• Maintain standards of customer service, presentation, cleanliness, and professionalism.
• Handle guest relations, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, grooming, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and operational procedures.
• Supervise inventory control, stock management, and operational supplies.
• Oversee daily sales reporting, cash handling, and related documentation.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
• Support implementation of service standards, SOPs, and operational systems.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Passion for hospitality, food, and guest satisfaction.

Required skills
