Resident Housekeeper – On‑site Accommodation

About the role

The Resident Housekeeper ensures a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment for residents. Working on‑site, you will manage daily housekeeping, laundry, and supply inventory while supporting kitchen and facility upkeep.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all rooms, offices, kitchens, dining areas, bathrooms, corridors and outdoor spaces.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing and window cleaning as needed.
• Make beds, change linens, and keep rooms tidy and well‑arranged.
• Wash, dry, iron and fold clothing, bed linens and towels; monitor linen stock levels.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, record usage and request replenishment before stock runs low.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, wash dishes and assist with meal preparation when required.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, report maintenance issues and coordinate repairs.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene standards, handle cleaning chemicals safely and respect resident privacy.

Required profile

• Minimum Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a housekeeper, cleaner or domestic staff preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, laundry operations and housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical fitness to perform housekeeping duties.
