Remote Machine Learning Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a contract Machine Learning Engineer to work remotely on a variety of AI projects. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models that address complex business challenges, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions into production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy models into production environments.
• Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Conduct experiments, evaluate performance, and iterate based on business needs.

Required profile

• Strong background in data structures, algorithms, and statistical modeling techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for deployment and scaling.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data extraction and preprocessing.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of MLOps practices for monitoring, logging, and continuous integration.
• Experience with hyperparameter tuning and model optimization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
