Remote Content Writer & Editor (Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Content Writer & Editor to join our remote team on a contractor basis. The role focuses on assessing, editing, and improving written material while ensuring high editorial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and overall quality.
• Review and edit content for grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and readability.
• Provide detailed and constructive feedback on written content.
• Identify low‑quality or artificial‑sounding AI‑generated content and distinguish between human‑written and AI‑generated text.
• Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists to meet project timelines.

Required profile

• Strong editing, proofreading, and copyediting skills with excellent grammar and syntax knowledge.
• Native‑level or near‑native English proficiency and ability to spot nuances and AI‑generated content.
• Attention to detail, constructive feedback mindset, and ability to work independently.
• Experience in writing, editing, proofreading, content review, or quality assurance (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or related field, or teaching experience (preferred).

What we offer

• Monthly remuneration of NGN 350,000.
• Fully remote work with flexible arrangements, subject to project requirements.
