Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales activities for Carrimo Motor in the Afikpo region. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening relationships with dealers and key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Set regional sales targets and develop plans to achieve them.
• Manage, coach, and motivate a local sales team.
• Visit dealers and key accounts to nurture relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analyse trends to inform strategy.
• Coordinate promotional activities and prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with senior management on pricing, product positioning, and go‑to‑market plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in regional or territory sales management within the automotive or related industry.
• Strong ability to set targets, track performance, and analyse market data.
• Excellent negotiation and contract‑closing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing sales teams.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the region and work on‑site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Competence in basic office software for reporting and documentation.
