Regional Sales Manager - FMCG

About the role

The company is looking for a Regional Sales Manager in the FMCG industry to set and deliver regional sales strategy, build distributor and retail partnerships, and lead a sales team. The role requires extensive travel within the assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies and operational plans aligned with company objectives.
• Drive regional sales, revenue, market share and profitability targets.
• Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, sub-distributors and retail partners.
• Lead, coach, monitor and develop the regional sales team.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to find new opportunities.
• Prepare and manage regional sales budgets, forecasts and performance reports.
• Ensure sales initiatives, promotions, pricing strategies and trade marketing are implemented across the region.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with Supply Chain to ensure product availability.
• Track and review key sales KPIs and resolve customer and distributor issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6-8 years of sales and marketing experience in FMCG.
• Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager or similar senior sales role.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
