Sales Representative

About the role

Rekrut Consulting is hiring a full-time Sales Representative in Lagos (Marina). The role focuses on identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, promoting and selling the company's products or services to both prospective and existing customers, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Pursue new sales opportunities to increase revenue and expand the customer base.
• Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, referrals, networking and other sales activities.
• Respond to customer enquiries, give product information and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, process customer orders and follow up on sales enquiries.
• Negotiate prices, terms and delivery arrangements within approved company guidelines.
• Follow up on outstanding payments, pending orders and post-sales concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, leads and prospects.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in supermarket sales or retail sales is required.
• Target-driven, proactive and presentable; able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
