About the role

The Real Estate Lawyer will monitor legal risk in real estate documentation, advise clients, and represent the company in property transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise clients accordingly.
• Draft and negotiate real estate transactions, routine leases and amendments.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are in place before executing transactions.
• Manage regulatory and compliance services and represent the company in purchases and sales of properties.
• Defend municipal code litigation and support legal advisory needs for a large‑scale real estate portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (essential) and admission as a notary public (essential).
• Strong experience in real estate law, including litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.
• Experience in title insurance underwriting, curative, and claims.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate sound judgment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
