RDC Assistant Depot Manager

About the role

The RDC Assistant Depot Manager supports efficient depot and warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inventory control, order fulfilment, dispatch activities, transport coordination, and compliance with operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily inbound, storage, picking, loading, dispatch, and outbound warehouse operations.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Coordinate customer order fulfilment, load planning, and dispatch activities to achieve OTIF, OTD, and Truck Turnaround Time targets.
• Monitor stock availability, ageing, shelf life, replenishment requirements, and SLOB exposure while enforcing FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of inventory transactions within D365/WMS.

Required profile

• Strong warehouse, depot, and inventory management knowledge.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Analytical capabilities to interpret operational data and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (preferably D365/WMS).
