Quantity Surveyor Manager

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor Manager will lead cost management for Alaro City’s large‑scale urban development projects. Reporting to senior construction leadership, you will ensure accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and budget control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction drawings and prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and bills of quantities.
• Analyse maintenance, material costs and contracts to secure optimal terms for the company.
• Oversee cost planning, estimation and budget control from inception to handover.
• Liaise with the Head of Construction, site engineers, contractors, subcontractors and clients on project‑related matters.
• Prepare reports, tender documents, contracts, risk assessments and budget updates.
• Track material requirements, issue purchase orders and support procurement planning.
• Monitor design changes, adjust cost forecasts and measure work progress on site.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a procurement management system.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale real‑estate or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
