Quality Control Analyst – Pharmaceuticals

About the role

Juhel Nigeria Limited is seeking a Quality Control Analyst to join its pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Nigeria. You will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse samples from all manufacturing stages to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Test raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products against established specifications.
• Perform experiments following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair minor laboratory equipment.
• Document laboratory findings in technical reports and assay records.
• Assist in defining assay criteria and drafting SOPs.
• Review test outcomes, compare with release criteria, and advise on product release.
• Maintain laboratory instruments, schedule routine maintenance, and ensure equipment is in good working order.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Science Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organisational, planning, and analytical abilities.
• High integrity, self‑driven, proactive and detail‑oriented.
