Quality Assurance Analyst – Mobile & Web

About the role

Babban Gona is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join its Lagos‑based technology team. You will protect the quality of mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications that support field officers and thousands of smallholder farmers across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and document functional, regression, edge‑case and exploratory test cases for mobile and web products.
• Maintain up‑to‑date test coverage maps for core user flows, providing clear visibility to product and engineering leads.
• Identify, log and track bugs with detailed reproduction steps, severity ratings and evidence, prioritising issues that impact low‑connectivity environments.
• Develop and expand automation scripts for high‑frequency regression scenarios using the team’s chosen framework.
• Participate in sprint cycles, reviewing requirements and user stories to flag ambiguities or potential quality risks.
• Conduct release readiness assessments and provide structured sign‑off or risk recommendations.
