Python & Data Science Instructor

About the role

Early Code is seeking a passionate Python and Data Science Instructor to deliver high‑quality, hands‑on training to students in Abuja. You will guide learners through core programming concepts, data analysis, and machine‑learning techniques, helping them build real‑world projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create and continuously update instructional materials, including assignments, projects, and assessments.
• Conduct in‑person classes, delivering clear explanations, live demonstrations, and practical examples.
• Provide personalized support, answer questions, give feedback, and assist students in troubleshooting coding challenges.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, offering constructive feedback.
• Maintain an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Python and data science.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to improve curriculum and develop new programs.

Required profile

• Minimum HND; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Extensive experience in Python programming and data‑science workflows.
• Proven teaching or instructional experience with strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for education and commitment to student success.
