Project Support Engineer

About the role

Speed Of Light Engineering is seeking a Project Support Engineer to join its Lagos office. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on providing technical assistance throughout the lifecycle of solar energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical support during project execution and resolve equipment or system issues.
• Analyse project data to identify optimisation opportunities and improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, procurement and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to track progress and meet timelines.
• Assist project managers with documentation, reporting and issue tracking.

Required profile

• Proven ability to support project teams and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Strong analytical mindset for evaluating data and streamlining workflows.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Experience in technical support for project‑related equipment and systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Familiarity with renewable or solar energy solutions is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical field preferred.
