Project Security Lead

About the role

The Project Security Lead will support the Bonga‑North and Deepwater projects by managing security risks throughout opportunity realization, execution and hand‑over phases. Working closely with the Project Security Manager, you will monitor threats, assess risks and design cost‑effective mitigations to keep security exposure ALARP.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification, assessment and development of security risk mitigation plans within the project risk framework.
• Provide security supervision and project‑management support across pre‑FEED, FEED and execution stages.
• Integrate security requirements into engineering, logistics, execution and operations workshops and daily planning.
• Deliver security documentation for ORS Decision Gates (DG1‑DG5) and ensure seamless hand‑over of deliverables.
• Coordinate with corporate security, maritime security and other security leads to monitor threats and apply appropriate mitigations.
• Ensure compliance with Group Security Standards and the SEAM Framework while evaluating security technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project‑level security risk management, preferably in oil & gas or similar high‑risk sectors.
• Familiarity with ALARP principles, Opportunity Realization Standards (ORS) and decision‑gate processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and influence project decisions.
• Strong understanding of security standards, maritime security considerations and risk‑mitigation planning.
