Project Procurement Manager

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager will lead all procurement activities for assigned projects, ensuring that materials, equipment, services and contractors are sourced and delivered on time, to the required quality and at the best commercial value. You will work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Legal and other stakeholders to align procurement with project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project‑specific procurement plans, translate requirements into procurement packages and identify long‑lead items.
• Manage sourcing activities, including RFQs, RFPs, tenders and bid evaluations, while maintaining a qualified supplier base.
• Lead commercial evaluations, price benchmarking and negotiate pricing, payment terms, warranties and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, review and issue purchase orders and contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications and contractual obligations.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage variations, and drive cost‑saving and value‑engineering opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 7 years of experience in project procurement.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end procurement cycles for construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, contract law and commercial risk management.
