About the role
The Project Officer leads field operations for Sproxil’s health programmes in an assigned Nigerian state. Combining team supervision with direct stakeholder engagement, the role ensures effective delivery of activities with PPMVs, pharmacies, government officials and community partners.
Key responsibilities
- Directly supervise a team of Field Officers, set daily targets, review logs, and provide on‑site coaching during joint visits.
- Manage scheduling and LGA coverage, adjust plans to shifting programme priorities and escalate performance issues.
- Serve as the primary liaison with PPMV unions, state Ministry of Health, State Malaria Elimination Programme and local health authorities, maintaining a stakeholder register.
- Maintain a portfolio of high‑value or complex PPMV relationships, handling escalations beyond Field Officer authority.
- Monitor state‑level data submission rates, completeness and anomalies, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Represent Sproxil at stakeholder meetings, community forums and inter‑agency sessions, reporting political sensitivities to senior management.
Required profile
- Mid‑level professional with several years of field‑based supervision experience in health or related sectors.
- Proven ability to travel extensively within a state and its LGAs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with government and private health providers.
- Excellent analytical mindset for data quality oversight and reporting.
- Effective communication and coaching abilities.
