Project Manager – Vaccine Hubs & Solarization Projects

About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, scheduling and execution of multiple health infrastructure projects in Nigeria, including the construction of vaccine hubs and the solarisation of health centres. The role reports to the Nigeria Country Office Chief of Health and works closely with health managers across primary health care, immunisation and MNCH clusters.
Key responsibilities
- Lead overall project planning, scheduling and execution for three vaccine hubs (Abuja, Kano, Lagos).
- Manage operation and maintenance contracts for solarisation of over 370 health centres.
- Oversee the defect‑liability period for the Abuja Premier Warehouse.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, in line with approved work plans.
- Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation, monitoring and results delivery.
- Support programme development, partnership building, innovation, knowledge management and capacity building.
Required profile
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in health, public health, construction management, financial management, management, international relations or a related field.
- Minimum five years of professional experience managing projects in the national or international health sector.
