Project Manager – Supply Chain Engineering

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Project Manager for its Supply Chain – Engineering function in Nigeria. You will be responsible for ensuring that assets are designed, purchased, installed and maintained to deliver optimal performance throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee assets are designed, selected and purchased with total cost of ownership in mind.
• Monitor and manage equipment performance, establishing KPIs with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Deliver projects on scope, schedule, cost and safety standards.
• Implement condition‑based monitoring and adjust preventive/predictive maintenance plans.
• Act as the local CMMS expert, ensuring accurate data capture and spare‑part management.
• Manage third‑party contractors to meet Unilever standards.
• Support finance with cost‑benefit reviews and ECRS optimisation of maintenance activities.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Mechanical, Industrial or Process Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance engineering, project management and inventory management within manufacturing.
• COREN‑registered Engineer; Project Management certification is a plus.
