Project Manager – Residential Fiber Projects

About the role

Acutech Support Systems is seeking a Project Manager to lead residential fiber connection projects in Lagos. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering FTTH deployments on time and within budget while ensuring high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules, milestones and deliverables for FTTH installations.
• Coordinate installation activities from the distribution point to customer premises.
• Supervise contractors and in‑house technicians, allocate resources and manage work schedules.
• Oversee home installations, ONT setup and service activation, handling customer escalations.
• Conduct quality inspections, audits and ensure compliance with FTTH standards and safety regulations.
• Liaise with Network Engineering, Operations and Customer Service teams and provide progress reports.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and track KPIs such as turnaround time and defect rate.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in telecom project management or FTTH deployment.
• Proven experience managing field teams and contractors.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Health & Safety certification.
