Project Manager – Mobile Marketing Projects (Lagos)

About the role

Upstream is looking for a Project Manager to join its Lagos office. Reporting to the SVP Operations, you will lead the planning, implementation and tracking of large‑scale mobile marketing projects for Mobile Network Operators.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall project plan and coordinate internal resources to meet launch dates.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients and Upstream teams to ensure flawless execution.
• Define project specifications, verify technical feasibility and secure resource availability.
• Track progress, control budgets and report issues to senior management.
• Maintain client relationships, set expectations and handle escalations.
• Write clear briefs for Engineering, Operations and Support departments.
• Produce and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in project management or consulting within telecom or IT.
• Strong technical background in mobile technologies, software development and web technologies.
• Excellent client‑facing and internal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an advantage.
