Project Manager – Civil (Telecom Tower Construction)

About the role

Pan African Towers is expanding its telecom tower footprint across Nigeria and needs a seasoned Project Manager – Civil to lead the full lifecycle of tower site builds. You will own the process from site identification and acquisition through design, construction, quality assurance, and ongoing maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preliminary site works, including site surveys and soil testing.
• Develop foundation and tower structural designs based on static and dynamic load requirements.
• Supervise structural engineering aspects of tower and infrastructure builds.
• Ensure technical specifications align with company and industry standards.
• Monitor project progress, adjust plans in real time, and provide regular progress reports.
• Conduct acceptance protocols, quality audits, and inspections to meet required standards.
• Develop mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and oversee remedial measures for tower retrofits.
• Lead cross‑functional teams of engineers, contractors, field technicians, and vendors.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the telecom tower industry.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering, tower construction, and telecom regulations.
• Proven experience delivering telecom infrastructure projects such as cell towers and fiber networks.
• Excellent communication skills and sound judgment when handling confidential information.
