Project Manager – Capital Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead capital projects from concept through commissioning and hand‑over. The role ensures safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality and operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Project Charters, Execution Plans and baseline schedules.
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction, QA/QC and HSE activities.
• Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications and contractor submissions.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, devise mitigation plans and conduct lessons‑learned reviews.
• Lead stakeholder coordination meetings and report progress using MS Project and dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with company governance, engineering standards and HSE requirements.
• Review contractor claims, variations and payments, and drive onsite quality inspections.
• Plan commissioning, testing, hand‑over and close‑out documentation to deliver defect‑free operations.
• Mentor team members and build high‑performing project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience delivering industrial, commercial or residential projects.
• Minimum 5 years managing multidisciplinary capital projects.
• PMP certification preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Project for scheduling and progress tracking.
