Project Management Trainer – On-site in Gbagada, Lagos

About the role

The Digital Skills Centre is seeking an experienced Project Management Trainer to join its on‑site team in Gbagada, Lagos. You will design, deliver and continuously improve project management courses that prepare learners for industry‑standard certifications and real‑world challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, course materials and practical exercises aligned with current project management standards.
• Facilitate instructor‑led, in‑person training sessions and guide learners through real‑life project scenarios.
• Assess learner performance, provide feedback and track progress to ensure strong outcomes.
• Collaborate with the academic team to update content, incorporating best practices and emerging tools.
• Maintain an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering structured learning programs for diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate learner performance and improve curriculum.
• Hands‑on project management experience covering planning, execution, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field; project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
• Comfort working in a technology‑focused training environment and integrating digital tools into teaching.
