Project Architect & Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Project Architect / Quantity Surveyor to lead design and cost management for projects in Abuja and Lagos. The role combines architectural design, client liaison, and rigorous quantity surveying to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute architectural designs, producing detailed blueprints and design proposals aligned with client needs.
• Conduct client meetings to capture project requirements and provide advisory services.
• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), tender documents and negotiate with suppliers/sub‑contractors.
• Manage project budgets, forecast costs, monitor expenditures and maintain accurate financial records.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Participate in pre‑tender activities, raise pre‑bid queries and support the procurement process.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture and quantity surveying.
• Proven site supervision and project management experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design capability.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion.
• Cost estimation and cost management techniques.
• Knowledge of National Building Code (NBC), ANSI/ASHRAE standards, and LEED certification.
• Ability to prepare and analyse Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
